Gregg Taylor
Investment Director
Gregg has over 25 years of investment experience across global markets, covering most industrial sectors with a focus on technology enabled business models. He is highly entrepreneurial and has founded and led various businesses across multiple sectors. Combining his institutional investment experience and operational roles, Gregg has spent the last 10 years deploying his unique investment strategy applying active management to a concentrated portfolio of private and public emerging growth companies.
Currently the Director of Equities at Salter Brothers, Gregg’s other investment experience includes roles at Bombora Investment Management, Blue Ocean Equities, Schroders Investment Management, Wilson HTM and Citigroup.
Gregg is also an experienced ASX Director across multiple sectors holding roles including Non-Executive Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Head of Audit & Risk Committee and Head of Remuneration & Nominations Committee.
Gregg holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Economics and Finance from the University of Wollongong and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Hayley Evans
Investment Committee
Experience: 20+ years
Hayley has a proven track record of establishing and growing companies in domestic and international markets. With expertise in strategic growth, business optimisation, technology, and performance marketing, she has delivered substantial bottom-line growth and sustainable year on year growth for companies ranging from early stage start up to Fortune 500’s. She is highly active in the emerging tech and impact space and advises leadership teams and boards on how to implement tech enabled community led growth strategies into their business execution plans.
Hayley has experience operating as a Portfolio Director and Board Member of a global investment fund (Tavistock) that comprised of a trading operation and a portfolio of public investments and private companies. During her role, Hayley has created a luxury beef brand with AACo (ASX: AAC) and implemented a tech enabled business operational roadmap. In addition, she built and scaled the groups tech portfolio that delivers a seamless service across the data chain and leverages organisations own data to gain competitive advantage.
Prior to this Hayley founded a Web3 Tech business which uses the utility of emerging technologies to create token gated memberships resulting in new revenue streams and demographics for impact led organisations. She has also held advisory, investment committee and Board roles in organisations specialising in sports, impact and tech including LeAD Sports, Her Capital by Hatch, Slocoach, Kintotek, Atlas Labs and Nurolux.
Hayley Evans is deeply passionate about advancing female founder inclusion and in 2022 established Women Making Waves. Women Making Waves exists to bring together a community of women and women supporters to leverage Web3 technology to fund and exports reform who have proven success in tactically transforming women’s rights laws across the USA and Australia. Hayley is the Chair of YPO Sydney Australia, YPO ANZ Regional Board member for learning and gender and Vice Chair of the YPO Global Impact Council Network PAN.
Robert Salter
Director
Robert is a Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Salter Brothers and has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to co-founding Salter Brothers, Robert was a Senior Investment Advisor at Macquarie Bank Limited. He provided investment advice to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals in the Asia Pacific region, encompassing asset allocation, structuring and investment selection. Before this, he held similar roles as a Director with UBS Wealth Management and also at Merrill Lynch Private. Prior to his career as an investment advisor, Robert worked overseas, principally in Switzerland, as the Deals Desk Head for the Metals and Minerals Division of Trafigura Beheer BV, a physical commodity trader. Robert was responsible for the management of the Global Derivatives book encompassing both the hedging of physical price risk and all proprietary trading activities.
Robert is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne), is PS146 Accredited and was an Accredited Derivatives Advisor Levels 1 & 2 with Macquarie Equities.

Tineyi Matanda
Investment Director
Tineyi is the Investment Director for the private equity and venture capital funds, with over 17 years of global experience his role covers the investment origination, assessment, transaction execution and post investment and strategic management of operational companies.Tineyi is currently Non-Executive Director of various companies working closely with boards and senior management of portfolio companies to create value. His role also involves management of various stakeholders from management, board, investors to regulators.
Previously a Non-Executive Director of various other companies including AirService and ChefGood assisting the company with its national expansion strategy and securing growth capital. He has also been a board member of various non-for-profits across Multiculturalism and Diversity. Prior to working at Salter Brothers, Tineyi worked at PwC in middle markets merger & acquisitions, strategy and transaction services group. He started at PwC in the Financial Services Assurance, Risk and Audit Group spending time working in New York.
Tineyi holds a Bachelor of Finance, is a Chartered Accountant and has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors course.
Francis Crossle
Analyst
Francis is a 3rd year student at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Finance with sub-majors of Economics & Accounting in Practice. He will support the team with company research and financial modelling.

Stephen Benton
Advisory Panel – Fintech and Payments
Experience: 30+ years
In CEO and non-executive director roles Stephen has broad experience driving business strategy, cultural and digital transformation and embracing disruption, with 30 years of success building competitively differentiated businesses that deliver and exceed financial, strategic and customer goals.
Demonstrated across public, private, mature, start-up and PE environments, Big-4 and International banks and ambitious challenger brands, he has launched and reimagined financial and payment product and service offerings that achieve market leadership, often with first or early mover advantage.
Stephen was most recently CEO and managing director of EFTPOS for 4 years in a transformative role self-initiating the FinTech’s strategic reset and digitisation to drive growth via e-commerce and create sustainable differentiation from competitors, delivering a tripling of revenue to $170m.
He has also been a non-executive director of Bancorp Collection Services, Bankcard Ltd, Alliance and Connect ID. Prior to this Stephen worked at Westpac and Bankwest in various senior roles. Underpinning of achievements has been to meet customer needs, enable richer digital experiences, use enriched data, understand core commercial levers and drive marketing effectiveness (B2B and B2C) while setting the vision for purpose-driven cultures and high performing teams.
Paul O’Neile
Industry Specialist – Telecommunications & Software
Experience: 35+ years
Paul is an experienced CEO and company Director with a demonstrable history of leadership and delivery.
Paul’s experience includes start-up organisations and multinational companies in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Asia and the United States. Paul has 35 years of direct experience in telecommunications, information technology and professional sport and his open-minded and inclusive approach equips him to lead in developing businesses to deliver profitable growth.
Paul was most recently Founding CEO of Numobile, a subsidiary of Macquarie Bank. Prior to this Paul was CEO and Board member of Boost Mobile, a company he co-founded in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Paul has also served as a Board Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Cronulla Sharks group of companies, Paul was a co-Founder of Belong and held senior positions at Optus and IBM. Paul currently serves as Chairman of Inkk Mobile in Fiji, a company he founded in 2007.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and has studied at INSEAD in Fontainbleau, France.

Dominic O’Hanlon
Industry Specialist – Enterprise Software (SaaS and PaaS)
Experience: 30+ years
Dominic is an experienced CEO, Chair, and Director of ASX-listed, multinational, and smaller private technology companies with a focus on strategy, go-to-market execution, M&A and exit management. Dominic spent 7 years as CEO of rhipe (RHP.AX) during which time he built Microsoft’s largest cloud distributor in the APAC region with offices in Australia, NZ, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, Japan and South Korea. Dominic sold rhipe to Norwegian based Crayon for $400M+ in November 2021. Prior to rhipe, Dominic has been CEO of multiple other technology companies which he built and took to exit including Haley (sold to Oracle for a record revenue multiple in 2008), TouchPoint (sold to NASDAQ listed Geac in 2001) and as ANZ Managing Director of Geac (sold to Infor for $1B+ in 2006). Dominic also served as Chief Strategy Officer of MYOB (sold to Bain Capital for $1B+ in 2011).
During his career Dominic has had roles in almost all areas of technology development, ranging from system architecture, programming, support, and professional services through to sales, marketing, channel management, and executive leadership. Dominic’s industry experience includes Financial Services, Real Estate, Public Sector, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Distribution and SME business software.
Over the past decade Dominic has had his own angel investment business and has served as a Board member, adviser, and consultant to a number of emerging and established technology companies in Australia and beyond.
Dominic’s is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), holds a BE(Econ) Hons I from the University of Sydney, and graduated from the Columbia Senior Executive (CSEP) program at Columbia University, New York, USA.
Jordan Grives
Industry Specialist – Telecommunications
Jordan is a Brisbane based serial entrepreneur and active investor. His first company Fonebox was acquired at the age of 27 for ~$30M by Nasdaq-listed J2 Global.
Shortly after this, his latest venture Fone Dynamics was acquired by Uniti Group Ltd in a 100% scrip deal. Jordan joined the Executive Leadership team and became a significant shareholder. Uniti became one of Australia’s fastest-growing listed companies and was acquired in late 2022 by Morrison-Brookfield Group for ~$3.6bn.
Jordan set up his family office Capital J Investments, which invests in a wide range of traditional and alternative assets, including venture capital and private equity. Jordan primarily seeks investments where he can take an active role, through mentorship and industry connections.
David Jakic
Industry Specialist – Enterprise Software (SaaS and PaaS)
David’s passion is solving business problems by developing and executing strategy. Currently, he holds dual roles as CEO at Liively and Managing Director of APAC for HQWS, both global companies, where he collaborate closely with business leaders and management teams to design and implement improvement solutions that drive organisational growth on a global scale.
Leveraging his experiences, which include successful exits from such companies as Clover3, Bluecrown Care and Blackstar Partners, he specialises in enhancing key fundamental business drivers such as minimizing and managing risks, conducting commercial due diligence, optimising supply chains, and improving operational efficiencies and effectiveness. David aims to empower organisations to achieve their growth objectives through strategic innovation and meticulous execution.
