KSB will benefit from combined investment portfolio management expertise of Kilara Capital and Salter Brothers – employing over 150 staff, with over $4.5 billion AUM across 10+ funds.
Private equity – Establishment of our next SME focussed, private equity Fund – KSB Transition Fund.
Infrastructure – Establishment of our flagship BESS Infrastructure Fund.
Real Assets – Acquisition of agricultural real estate and implementation of environmental projects to generate multiple revenue streams, backed by corporate offtake.

Our team brings decades of combined experience across private equity, sustainable investing, corporate finance, and operational leadership — complementing Salter Brothers’ strong track record in institutional investment management with Kilara Capital’s deep expertise in climate and impact-driven strategies.

KSB Transition Fund is a private equity fund, empowering the growth of SME’s in critical markets.
* The Decarbonisation Value (also known as the Carbon On Invested Capital (COIC) metric) assumes a conservative forward-looking carbon price of $30 per metric tonne of CO2e, which is derived from a sample of globally accepted and recognised carbon markets. The COIC will be calculated over the lifetime of the Fund. There is no guarantee that these targets will be achieved.

Prior to founding Kilara, Ben gained over 20 years’ experience across corporate advisory, legal advisory, commercial transactions and deal structuring in a variety of industry sectors, including renewable energy, commercial property, venture capital, sustainable finance and environmental markets.

Emma Jenkin
Partner
Emma has 20 years’ experience in climate investing across deal origination, structuring, portfolio management and impact investing. She is considered a climate pioneer and has led a number of domestic and global innovations across the clean energy transition, ESG investing, carbon finance and emissions trading.

Maja Sliwinski
Investment Director
Maja has over 20 years’ of global investing experience in public and private markets focusing on deal sourcing, structuring and portfolio management. Maja holds an MBA from The Wharton Business School and a Dual Degree in Finance and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Partner
Dougal has over 15 years’ of experience in executive management roles across the financial advisory, agtech/agriculture, sustainable energy and funds management sectors, with 10 years solely focused on projects and investment managment that deliver long term economic and decarbonisation outcomes.

Dr Jodi York
Chief Impact Officer
Jodi has 20 years’ experience as a researcher, strategist, and advisor across aspects of social impact – funding, sustainable business models, strategic impact management and effective impact communication. Jodi has a PhD in Sociology from the University of California – Berkeley and actively contributes through her writing, research, and teaching at the University of Melbourne.
